Story Homes is once again offering support to Asaptria Rugby Union Football Club (RUFC).
Story Homes has supported the club for a number of years and have enjoyed a positive relationship with this local rugby club.
This season, Story’s have provided the player’s shirts and also taken the opportunity to have a number of boards around the pitch.
Mel Handley, Community Support Officer at Aspatria RUFC said: “We are proud to be associated with Story’s and they have supported us now over many years. Support such as this, in our rural and often isolated area, can’t be emphasised enough. It means that we are able to go into Primary schools to recruit, coach and at the same time, promote healthy living and good standards to young people. For older secondary pupils, we can promote Higher Education routes available as well as encouraging sporting activity.
“Story’s continued support also allows us to seek their professional advice as and when required we four our field, building and ground maintenance requirements which we have ongoing all year round. Much of this assistance goes unseen but we are very much appreciative of all the help we have received over the years.”
Story Homes is supportive of numerous clubs, events and charities throughout the local communities in which we work. This includes a number of other sports clubs in the area.
