Story Homes Win Two UK Property Awards which recognizes a select number of UK property professionals and rewards them for their excellence. The UK Property Awards 2012 have now been judged and we have been informed that we are amongst the winning companies – for 2 of our developments!
Our Summerpark development in Dumfries is no stranger to winning awards; this being the fifth year running it has won a UK Property Award and consistently achieving the top ‘5-star’ award. Added to this, the development has won Scottish Home awards for the last 3 years. Summerpark is ideally located on the outskirts of Dumfries and will eventually rise to 900 properties – making it the largest housing development in the area.
Our 2nd Story Homes winner was Magellan Park in Whitehaven; which also won a UK Property Award last year. The development will be familiar to many following the ITV4 documentary that challenged 22 ‘Rookie Builders’ to build a detached 4-bedroom luxury home in less than a year. Magellan Park has lovely views over the Irish Sea and remains an extremely popular development, with phase 2 soon to be released.

Successful entrants have been invited to attend a high profile gala presentation dinner at the London Marriott Hotel on October 12th 2012 where official announcements will be made. Also later in the year, the highest scoring winners from the UK Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Arabia to find the world’s best in each category. Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, says “The quality of entries has been extremely high once again, any company to win one of these awards has shown exceptional levels of professionalism in their field”.
