We are pleased to say that we have been shortlisted in some very prestigious North West awards.

Story Homes has been shortlisted for both Housing Development of the Year, for the High Wood development in Lancaster, and for Housebuilder of the Year, competing against housing giants Redrow and Elan Homes.

Steve Errington, Chief Executive of Story Homes said: “To be shortlisted in the first ever North West Residential Property Awards is a big achievement for us, particularly looking at the high caliber of shortlisted organisations.

“Although we have been building homes in Cumbria for more than 28 years, we now have a foothold in the more central areas of the North West, with a number of developments under construction, many more in the production and planning pipeline, and of course a new office in Chorley. To win one of these awards would truly cement our growth in the North West and it would be great recognition for our dedicated teams.”

This is the first year that Business Insider has offered these awards, previously focusing on the Commercial Sector. However, the industry requested some recognition for the residential projects taking place across the North West, with the residential sector underpinning the property sector and economic growth.

Insider editor Chris Maguire said: “We’re launching the Residential Property Awards in response to direct requests from the sector. We’ve decided to accept submissions from an 18-month period to ensure the winners are the best of the best. As editor of Insider, I can promise that these new awards will have the same professionalism, integrity and eye for detail as our more established awards.”

A team from Story Homes will be attending the awards ceremony on Wednesday 27 January 2016 at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, where they will hope to be crowned the winners. Fingers crossed!
