The Butler is our only detached 3-bedroom home with a garage, and we were so excited to open the doors to this show home at Brookfield Woods in Middlesbrough to showcase how spacious a 3-bedroom home can be.
Why we love it
We love that this home offers you the space you need to live, without an extra bedroom upstairs – perfect for those who don’t need four or five bedrooms, but are looking for more room to grow downstairs.
The Butler has a characteristic exterior, one of our favourite features is the gable detailing above the entrance door. This character is reflected inside this beautiful home, which has spacious, open-plan living areas, including a kitchen/dining area that is flooded with light through French doors.
One of the standout features of this home is the master bedroom, which has a separate dressing area that connects to a spacious en-suite – this room gives us serious bedroom envy! Plus, the two spare bedrooms are big enough for double beds, which is great for those with growing children, or for those who need space for an office at home.
Styling tips
This show home was styled by Abode and uses shades of pink throughout, teamed with metallics such as brass and copper that give it a modern edge.
The spacious lounge uses bold fabrics that inject colour; we love the feature corner sofa, which offers space for all of the family – plus, the accent chair tucked away in the opposite corner is a great place to switch off with a book at the end of the day.
The open-plan kitchen/dining area feels light and spacious, with simplistic, neutral décor. The blush pink dining chairs add a pop of colour, and there’s plenty of space for hosting thanks to the L-shaped kitchen and separate ceiling height unit for the integrated fridge/freezer and double oven. The utility doubles up perfectly as a laundry room where you can tuck away your washing machine.
This neutral theme continues upstairs, with soft furnishings and accessories adding colour in each room. There’s space for integrated wardrobes in all of the bedrooms – we love how seamlessly they fit into the rooms and act as a focal point – like the one in the guest bedroom, that adds a different shade and has a stylish mirror strip.
