Show home spotlight: The Harrison

This week we’re shining a light on The Harrison, a detached 4-bedroom home with an integrated garage. We have two Harrison show homes, one at Brookfield Woods in Middlesbrough and the other at Elston Park in Grimsargh.

Why we love it:

We love the characteristic exterior, which uses brick and render detailing – one of our favourite features is the band of bricks below the lounge window.

Internally, the standout room for us is the kitchen/dining/family area. This large open plan space has room for a sofa and dining table, plus some breakfast bar stools at the kitchen island. The bi-folding doors link seamlessly to the garden, extending this already generous living space and filling the room with light. Not forgetting the ceiling to floor length window in the kitchen area – this really is such a light-filled space!

Styling tips:

This home has a spacious entrance hall, perfect for a stylish console that could double up as shoe storage. There’s also space for coat hooks at the base of the stairs – great for keeping your favourite jackets handy!

The kitchen/dining/family area is perfect for flexible living; your guests or family can relax in the living area whilst you prepare dinner, so you get to spend more time with them, rather than stuck in a separate kitchen cooking. There’s plenty of cupboard space too, so you can integrate your washing machine for a seamless look.

The lounge is an ideal size, you can comfortably fit two sofas, as well as a nice accent chair and centre table – this is done in a nice scandi style at Elston Park.

Another favourite of ours is the master bedroom; we love the styling of this space at Brookfield Woods, which uses elegant gold accessories. There’s room for a dressing table at the end of the bed, as well as integrated wardrobes, and the en-suite is so spacious – stylishly finished with Porcelanosa tiles.
