What is there to do?
There are many picturesque walks to enjoy, including Grimsargh Wetlands which spans nearly 30 acres and is a haven for local wildlife including curlew and wading birds. Or you can explore Tun Brook Wood, a historic stretch of woodland that runs right down to the River Ribble and is home to a wide range of animals including deer and badger.
Fancy a bite to eat or a quick tipple? The Plough Inn, located in the heart of the village, is a traditional pub providing tasty dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients, and has a variety of real ales on offer. Locals and tourists flock to the pub throughout the year, bringing a real buzz to the place.
Did you know, Grimsargh has the largest village green in Lancashire – the perfect spot for a picnic! This extensive community space consists of a fabulous children’s play area, football pitch, wildlife garden and a pond.
The village also hosts an annual field day bringing the community together for a day of fun, games, live music, market stalls, competitions and more. What’s not to love!
