We’re shining a spotlight on one of our largest house types, The Masterton, and are taking a look inside one of our customer’s homes. We have many customers with Instagram accounts devoted to their beautiful Story home, and we love to see how they have added their personality and creative flair. This time we’re featuring 29_themasterton which belongs to Jess and her lovely family.
What’s special about The Masterton?

Styling tips
Jess has only been in her new Story home a short time so is still busy styling each room, slowly building up the perfect home inspiration grid on 29_themasterton. Although she’s new to the Instagram ‘home account’ scene, her beautiful style stopped our scrolling in its tracks and we bookmarked her account ready to share with you all.
Jess has opted for a classic monochrome palette blended with pops of rich colour, creating a modern but timeless look. We’re a particular fan of the panelling effect and two-tone wall with a crisp dividing line that she has incorporated into some of the rooms.
One to watch, 29_themasterton is certainly worth a follow and we can’t wait to see how she continues to style her beautiful home.
What do real homeowners have to say?
We caught up with Jess to find out about the inspiration for her style and what made her choose a Story home at Priory View. She said:
“The exterior of our home is quite a traditional brick so I’ve tried to keep this style inside with a modern twist. I also love a pop of colour, it feels more homely. My favourite feature is the kitchen island, it’s a real focal point and so versatile. I love putting different decorative accessories on it to style the kitchen.”
“I grew up in the Durham area and have looked at other Story Homes developments in the past. I just fell in love with the style of a Story home and was so excited to reserve our Masterton at Priory View. The reputation for quality is ultimately what made us choose Story Homes. No two houses are the same on our development, in terms of brick and finishing colours and the layout of the Masterton is exactly what we were looking for.”
With Christmas around the corner, we wanted to know what Jess is most looking forward to in her new home. She said: “I can’t wait to decorate our kitchen area ready for hosting family and friends over the Christmas period.” We can just imagine how magical this space with look with some festive flourishes, hopefully she’ll share some photos on her account!
