Shotley Bridge Beer Festival

August 2012

Shotley Bridge Beer Festival will be taking place on 24th – 26th August 2012 and we here at Story Homes are delighted to announce we will be the main sponsor of the event. It gives the opportunity to showcase our development of houses for sale in Shotley Bridge, ‘The Woodlands’.

We are really excited about the Shotley Bridge Beer Festival and they’ve even named a beer after our development, “Story Homes Woodlands Ale” – a copper bronze ale with a smooth crisp taste at 3.8% and Cumberland brewed.

It is the fifth annual year for the Shotley Bridge Beer Festival and they have 53 beers, 16 ciders and 6 wines on offer. The festival will be held at the Shotley Cricket Club in County Durham. The 3 day event is not to be missed and beers and ciders are available from only £1 for a half pint. It starts at 6pm on the Friday evening and continues until 11pm on the Sunday with the Beer Festival expecting around 2000 visitors to attend.

Here at Story Homes we are delighted to have some involvement with the local community near ‘The Woodlands’ development, situated on the eastern outskirts of Shotley Bridge in the Derwent Valley, adjoining the town of Consett. For the discerning buyer looking for a dream home, in an idyllic location and offering spectacular views across County Durham’s beautiful Derwent Valley, then this stunning executive development of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties for sale in Shotley Bridge, is the obvious choice. Add to this a journey time of less than 30 minutes to the centre of Newcastle and 25 minutes from the A1 and you’ve got what many would consider the perfect place to live. For everyone going to the Shotley Bridge Beer Festival we look forward to seeing you there and hope you have a great time!
