Safety first for Kells ARLFC through Story Homes’ support

January 2014

kells-logoA local rugby team can play safely thanks to sponsorship from Story Homes.

Kells ARLFC received a £1000 donation from Story Homes to help provide new safety barriers at the Kells Welfare sports field in Whitehaven.

The donation will help the club to purchase and install safety barriers for the circumference of the field, making the playing environment safer for the teams.

Kells currently has seven teams including under 7’s and Under 16’s and two open age teams.

Kells have been working with the RFL, The English FA, Copeland Borough Council and a contractor to make the project happen.
