Record crowds attend Westmorland Show 2015

September 2015

The Westmorland County Show 2015 saw their highest ever attendance of over 35,000 people, and Story Homes were delighted to be involved. Story Homes Sales Executives were on hand to give information about developments in the area, help people with any potential land enquiries, and hand out goodies to the hundreds of school children who attended. However, the main attraction of the Story Homes stall was once again Builder Bear who danced, gave ‘high fives’ and posed for photos with the show-goers.

The annual Westmorland County Show offers something for everyone and is one of Britain’s oldest and Cumbria’s largest livestock shows. It boasts a wide range of the best that English agriculture has to offer and as a major livestock show features cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, horses, poultry, alpacas, hounds, heavy horses, dogs and rare breeds. There are also craft tents, food stalls and much, much more for attendees to enjoy.

Nearby to the show is Story Homes popular development in Kendal, The Beeches, offering a superb collection 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. Also open close by is High Wood in Lancaster and Brookwood Park in Kirkham.

With Story Homes keen to continue growing in the North west of England there are several more developments coming soon.
