Paul Tate secures Northern Residential Site Agent of the Year award

The assistant site manager at our award-winning housing development in Shotley Bridge, County Durham has won a prestigious regional award.

Paul Tate, who works on our development The Woodlands was awarded the Residential Site Agent of the Year award at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Northern Building Excellence Awards 2017.

Paul has worked on the development since 2014 when he joined us. Since then he has built up a strong relationship with Durham County Council, ensuring that all of our new homes built meet building regulations.

He said: “I am very honoured to have won this prestigious award against strong competition!
There was a lot of talent in the room on the evening so to secure the award on behalf of Story Homes was fantastic.”

MD for Story Homes in the North East, Ian Worgan, said: “I’m really pleased that Paul has been recognised by LABC for his high-quality standards and commitment to partnership working. He has been a real asset to us on the site – a great ambassador for our quality standards and fantastic with our customers. Winning the award was very well deserved.”

All of the winners from the regional awards have now been entered into the national LABC Grand Final which will take place in London on Friday 10 November.
