An application for 117 new homes in Kirkham has been approved.
Story Homes has been granted permission by Fylde Borough Council to build the homes off Blackpool Road in the town.
David Hayward, Development Planner for Story Homes said: “We welcome the decision to grant permission for our proposals to build up to 117 new homes in the town of Kirkham.
“Our development will include up to 30% of homes classed as ‘affordable’ for local people, as well as creating employment opportunities for local contractors, with knock on effects for local supply chains and other local businesses and services.
Story Homes already has a proven track record for delivering successful communities, including High Wood, the new build element of the Lancaster Moor Hospital project, which recently received national industry recognition in the UK Property Awards.
Story Homes plans to start work on site in 2015, with the first new homes available in late 2015.
David Hayward added: “We look forward to working in Kirkham and bringing our high quality homes to the Fylde area in the very near future.
