Three housing developments have been shortlisted for prestigious national awards.
Warranty provider Premier Guarantee has shortlisted Story Homes’ housing development The Woodlands, Shotley Bridge in the category of ‘Large Development of the Year’ and The Grange, Dalston and The Meadows, Lazonby in the category of ‘Medium Development of the Year’.
The annual Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards recognise the best developments in the UK housing market and developments will be up against other national house builder’s developments across the UK.
Steve Errington, Chief Executive of Story Homes said of the nomination: “A short listing in such prestigious national awards is a great success for Story Homes. This is acknowledgement that we are building quality homes recognised throughout our industry. Story Homes has already achieved a great deal across the regions and we look forward to offering more of our aspirational homes to the market in various locations in the coming months.”
If successful, this won’t be the first award for the The Woodlands development as it won ‘Best High Volume New Housing Development’ at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) awards in2014 and has also won a UK Property Award, naming The Woodlands one of the best developments in Durham.
The Woodlands is just one of Story Homes’ many developments in the north east, with plans submitted for high quality executive homes in Wynyard, Morpeth, Sedgefield, Lanchester and a current sales outlet in Middlesbrough.
Story Homes has several developments in and around Carlisle and The Grange is proving to be popular in the picturesque village of Dalston on the western fringe of the city.
The Meadows is the second development to launch in the Eden Valley in recent years, with Orchard Place in Appleby attracting customers from across the UK. Story Homes is also submitting plans to bring their quality new homes to the town of Penrith.
