Homes are snapped up in Cumwhinton

May 2017

Story Homes’ eagerly awaited Edenholme Park development successfully launched at The Crown Hotel, in Wetheral.

Potential home buyers queued outside the hotel to get the first pick of the homes on offer. To date, the 22 home development has proved very popular with nearly a quarter of the homes being secured before the marketing suite is due to open this weekend.

The collection of homes has been highly anticipated, with more than 170 people who had pre-registered their interest to attend the launch. Neil Docherty was the first person to reserve a home off-plan celebrating with champagne and flowers at the launch event with his granddaughter.

The development, to be known as Edenholme Park will feature a stunning collection of semi-detached and detached properties in a range of 3, 4, and 5 bedrooms which offer up to 1,905 sq ft of living space.

As well as boasting high specification interiors these homes will feature attractive exteriors incorporating sandstone, brickwork and render, adding to the charm of the area and creating the stunning street scenes for which Story Homes is renowned.

Sales manager Carreana Taylor, who was on hand to congratulate Neil & Marylyn Docherty on their purchase said: “We are very pleased to launch Edenholme Park and see so many people turn up to our event. The development is in an enviable location and it’s fantastic to bring these new homes to buyers in Cumwhinton who are looking for a lifestyle as well as a home.

“With the first houses expected to be available to move in at the end of the year, and it being such a small development we are anticipating a high demand for released properties following the launch.”

Edenholme Park is set to bring additional benefits, including job creation and opportunities both directly and indirectly for local suppliers, contractors, businesses and services in Cumbria.

The marketing suite will open on site from Saturday 6 May and will be open Thursday to Monday 10.30- 4:30 pm.
