How the homes at Eden Gate will look
Story Homes’ new development in Houghton is due to launch with the first sale already secured.
Keen buyers queued at Carlisle Racecourse on Wednesday 20 May to be first in line to secure their dream Story Home in the picturesque North Cumbrian village.
Local couple Louise and Jonathan Scott were amongst the first through the doors. They were hoping to reserve a brand new home for themselves after renting a Story Home at Turnstone Park in Carlisle.
They were enthusiastic about the quality and finish of the homes and excited to purchase one for their family, including two young daughters. They had visited a number of Story Homes’ developments nearby to help them in their decision.
The first house at Eden Gate to be purchased, by another local buyer, was a four bedroom detached Warwick house type.
More than 150 eager customers had registered their interest in the site prior to its opening, and were invited to be the first to find out about prices and availability at the exclusive launch event.
The Marketing Suite at Eden Gate in Houghton officially opens on Saturday 23 May at 10.30am and will be open Thursday to Monday 10.30am to 4.30pm.
