Carlisle Living awards prove city is great place to live

September 2014

Businesses around the city made us proud to be a Carlisle headquartered company this month, as we celebrated the first ever ‘Carlisle Living Awards’.

A variety of businesses in the city picked up an accolade, proving them to be the best the city has to offer in their category. Story Homes sponsored the awards, with Chairman Fred Story giving a thoughtful speech about why the nominees should have pride in their success and strive to continue making the city a great place to live and work.

Fred said: “Carlisle is a special place. I love Carlisle not for what it has been but what it can be. Why shouldn’t we stand up and say we are as good as other cities and in many ways better than they are.”
