I am responsible for the procurement of materials for site – this can be anything from bricks, to roof trusses, to furniture for our sales cabins and everything in between. It is not all about price; sourcing a quality product is just as important.
The role is diverse and over the three years I have been here, I have learnt so much and there is plenty more to learn; both about construction and procurement. It is not just office-based either – we take quite a hands-on approach to resolving problems on site.
